Welcome to Athena Grill, your neighborhood Greek café. My name is Vasilikí, or Váso for short. I grew up in a small farming village in Messenía, in southern Greece, in an area world-renowned for its native Kalamáta olives and the excellent oil that we press from them.
| At Athena Grill, we serve traditional family favorites, recipes that I learned as a child and perfected during my thirty-five years owning and personally operating restaurants throughout the Bay Area, in San Francisco, the East Bay, and the South Bay.
We hope that you will also enjoy our superb olive oil, produced from my own trees growing on the coastal plain of Messenía. This sweet, robust, fruity oil is served exclusively at Athena Grill and can be purchased only here by the bottle.
